"Bob Dylan and Me" came directly from an incredibly vivid dream where Tim was on a road trip with Bob Dylan. Tim explains, "We were just having a great conversation, enjoying the scenery and Bob was coming up with all these great lines. In the dream I asked him if I could use them in a song. He said it was fine so I consider that a viable legal agreement :). And that's how I ended up with a song written by Bob Dylan and Me".

This is a song I wrote with Bob Dylan in a dream
We were driving down some unknown desert highway
Can you picture the scene?
He said if you’re lost you’ve got to find out where your True North is
And I thought to myself there’s nothing much nearer to the truth than this

I said can I use that line he said fine you can have it for free
And that’s how I ended up with a song written by Bob Dylan and Me

Well we kept on drivin’ and talkin’ about all kinds of stuff
I don’t remember everything but what I do remember is enough
I said those words you sang on Slow Train Comin’ do you still think they’re true
He said all I can say is I found my True North how about you?

I said can I use that line he said fine take it it’s free

Well I don’t know if he’ll ever hear this song or if he’ll want a piece of it
But I’ll be satisfied if he just calls me up and says put my name on it
